i am trying to play my sirius satellite radio on my computer (mac osx) through the sirius website. whenever i try to start up the player, i get the following error:
The page SIRIUS Player - 100% Commercial-free Music has content of MIME type application/x-mplayer2, but you dont have a plug-in installed for this MIME type. A plug-in should be available on this page:
http://www.microsoft.com/Windows/MediaPlayer/unfortunately, this microsoft page does not offer a mac plug-in. i have tried repetedly to just download the windows media player 9 for mac osx on the page as a potential solution, but it just comes up as a .sitx document on my desktop with a blank page icon that will not open.
i also downloaded the flip4mac software, but that doesn't seem to help.
i was on the phone with sirius tech support for 2 hours today about it and got nowhere. please help!!!
