The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

The company I work for has their email exchange server through OWA.  I recently got a blackberry 8830 which they do not support.  I can sync everything, contacts, calendar etc from my BB to Micro Outlook.  I can also channel my email from OWA to Outlook 07, but due to security reasons my company is saying they can not provide me with the outgoing exchange server. Therefore, I can not send emails from Outlook.  This leaves me with doing my email from OWA and transporting all of my calendar and contact entries by hand which is rediculous.  It seems there has to me a way to sync a BB with OWA.  Afterall, OWA and Outlook 07 are both Microsoft and basically the same programs.  I went on the Blackberry website to see if I could download a program that would allow me to sync to OWA.  I found a program called Web Desktop Manager which seemed to be what I need.  The sync-ing program I have currently is just Desktop Manager which came on a disc with the phone.  When I tried to download the program, it would download to a file, then I would unzip, and when I tried to install it would error out and tell me the program terminated early and it would shut down.  I tried several times.  After being on the phone with Sprint BB tech support twice for over an hour each time, getting nowhere talking to those morons, and getting cut off both times I don't know whether to cry or just to back to a handwritten appointment book!  please help!
