The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. XP Drivers instead of Vista on Notebook PC

Ok guys, I need help.  I've hit this problem before and I've tried to find the right drivers and all I'm doing is pulling my hair out.  Here's the scoop.  The morons at HP will not help me in anyway to find the correct drivers for every device in my HP DV6700 notebook PC.  They said it was meant to be Win Vista and since I have wiped out Win Vista (because my client, and I, hate it) and have replaced it with Win XP that I will have to find the correct drivers myself.  After searching and trying some different drivers, only the video and  the AMD processor update seem to work.  I still need everything else.  Lan, wireless, audio, card reader, etc. etc.  My service tag says DV6707US which I beleive is the real model number.  Can you please help with this?Start Free Trial
