My Computer not responding when i click on USB Card Reader

Vista 32bit Home Premium about a few months old and then i plug in the USB Card Reader the Device is installed and properly installed on the PC , When i Go to Computer and click on any one of the drives My Computer or Computer goes into Not Responding Mode. Any Suggestions Start Free Trial
