Hello my Expert-Friends!

I want to colorize the Text of an Edit Field. I read in the net this is the way to do it but the "HBRUSH CKGEdit::OnCtlColor(CDC* pDC, CWnd* pWnd, UINT nCtlColor)"-function is never called. Why?
