Installing and Configuring snmp to work on ubuntu server

Hi

I am trying to monitor the bandwith on our ubuntu servers with snmp but i cant get it to work. i have installed the snmp server on the server and i have add the community it should read to. i am using prtg to monitor but prtg does not find the ubuntu box
