The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

XML conversion

We use Network Solutions Monster Commerce to host our e-commerce site and they no longer offer an option to export our catalog to specific type of XML Schemas such as the Google Base Schema. They merely offer an export function which allows you to export in CSV or XML. However if I export our 1000+ products to an XML file the field elements names are incorrect and google will certainly reject this file as a valid data feed.

My question is:
is there an easy way to convert my exported XML file that contains all of my products and theres attributes to the google base xml data feed schema (or any xml schema for that matter, such as Shopping.com or Amazon)??

I have tried using Excel 2007 and mapping an XML Map to the work book. (no luck)
I have also tried using Stylus Studio 2008 XML Enterprise using the mapper function (no luck)

Both programs will export the new XML file but only with the first set of records from the source XML file.

Attached code is the google base xml file i want to map and use as a template and the product export xml file (products.txt) is attached and contains a few products that i chose to export as an example.

I know I am missing something really simple and and I know this can be done alot easier than the route I am taking. I am just really frustrated at this point!! HELP!
