Windows system restore

I'm about to develop a Windows(XP) restore software. Demand functions are simple: 1.When writing operation to a dedicated volume happened, this op should be redirected to another disk (e.g. A process request to write some data into C:, this software should make the destination into D:).

Open source available better.
