The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Quickbooks 2007 is running SO SLOW

Ok, so I have installed a new server running QB Enterprise Solutions 7.0 and its just crawling.

The current setup is a dell poweredge server with a dual core xeon 2.0GHz processor, 2GB of ram and 2 SATA hard drives in a RAID 1 array.

The workstations are both P4's with 512MB of ram and plenty of hard drive space.

When I first got it the company file was 350MB and it just crawled.  In addition to being a huge data file it has been around since QB 6 and just kept getting upgraded.  I got the Data Transfer Utility from Intuit and transferred otu the last two years worth of data into a new file and got it down to 65MB, but its still crawling.
