How do I backup google chats?

In my gmail account there is a chats folder that lists all of my chats. I would like to download all those chats into thunderbird so I can save them locally. The only way I can see of doing that is to email all the chats to myself and then download them with pop.

Sadly, that would be painful. I have about 100 chats and would rather not have to do that 100 times.Start Free Trial
