Junk Filter conflict with Outlook Rules

Asked by techhog in Exchange Email Server, Outlook Groupware Software, Anti-Spam White Lists

We use Trendmicro scanmail for exchange and we use the whitelist features.  I have 15 workstations with Outlook 2003 at my company.  I noticed that only my workstation finds trendmicro whitelisted emails in the junk folder in Outlook.  As I troubleshooted the issue, I discovered that only my machine had rules established in Outlook.  When I deleted the rules, whitelisted emails continued to find their way to the junk folder.  I backed up my email to a .pst file, went into Active Directory and deleted my mailbox and then recreated it.  After doing this, whitelisted emails came through to my outlook inbox.  Great... So, I went back to Outlook rules and instead of importing the old rules, I created new rules.  I created about 4 rules.  The problem is back, by trendmicro whitelisted items are now being sent to the junk folder again.  I really need these rules, but I really want my whitelisted emails to get to my inbox as it takes a lot of time to sift through the junk each day...please help.Start Free Trial
