Thunderbird imap - slow forward

Hello, ok i have bunch of PC in office, there is a local mail server pulling mail in and distributing it to users via imap.

All work fine except for one which have developed problem, it works but if user tries to forward an email the compose windows pops up but then is slow to load content and allow typing, if this windows is closed without saving the then quickly try forwarding again there is no delay?

Leave a delay and again it is slow.

User also reports that typing can be slow and hesitant.

I have been over this PC with fine tooth comb, there is plenty of mem, there is very little cpu load when forwarding. I have tried compacting and re-indexing folders, the imap folders are all set for offline usage so there is a local cache.

There is no network latency.

As i said there 10 other workstations with same setup and the work fine, thunderbird is upto date.

any ideas?
