The Solution Rating System

Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. windows xp pro slow at start up and shutdown

My XP Pro SP2 computer slow down since 3 days ago. Perhaps I have
download some updates from microsoft  via Windows Update or affected by malware/spyware. The OS start with XP flashscreen, then
goto a black screen for 8 seconds, then welcome screen with message "logging in" ...Next, come to windows desktop with some
hanging about 20 seconds. The OS shutdown with about 30 seconds
speed.
