Duplicate "Acrobat Comments" in Word menu bar

I have a system in our office that has multiple instances of "Acrobat Comments" in the Word menu bar.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe 6 standard and Office 2003. I have deleted the normal.dot in the C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates folder. That got rid of the current duplications but once I close and reopen Word they start coming back one at a time.
1 for everytime I reopen word.
