Remove Autodesk products from computer to reinstall

Asked by kwheil in Photos & Graphics Software, Windows Vista

Tags: Autodesk, 3DS Max 2008, Vista 64 bit

Due to a Portable License Utility error, I cannot import my license into 3DS Max 2008 on Windows Vista 64. In order to get a new activation code from Autodesk I need to reinstall the software and run the activation process. I used the recommended removal process from Autodesk to unstill all Autodesk products including deleting registry keys. After I reinstall the program it still says the license has been exported and will not run the activation process.

Any ideas on where the program could be getting the information that the program is licensed on this computer?Start Free Trial
