I am trying to host a virtual spokesperson on my website.
I have an flv file containing the content that I want played. So far I have been able to create an swf file to play flv file via progressive download. This was pretty straight forward using the import video process within flash.
What I want to do is something similar to the virtual spokesperson found on
http://davetheshoeguy.com/So far I have a vsp that loads and plays out til the end. It is loaded into a div and displayed on top of everything. The last frame is transparent so when it finishes it appears to go away, but you cannot click anything underneath the swf file.
I have no idea where to start as to
a) add my own custom close button
b) get the button to close the flash file when clicked.
I have looked in all sorts of places over the net, but as I am a beginner with flash and javascript I have been unable to find a nice tutorial on how to do this. So far I have only found bits and pieces and have been unable to put them together nicely.
If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be great.
