The Solution Rating System
|
||
With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.
Your Input Matters If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support. Thank you! |

***BELOW IS A SNIPPET OF THE RESULTS FORM TAHT IS BASED OFF OF SINGLE VALUE SELECTED ON MAIN FORM***
<CFIF '#form.listreq#' is "Value 1">
<CFQUERY NAME="results" datasource="datasource">
select * from table where lower(fieldname) like lower('Value 1')
</CFQUERY>
<CFELSEIF '#form.listreq#' is "Value 15">
<CFQUERY NAME="results" datasource="datasource">
select * from table where lower(fieldname) like lower('Value 15')
</CFQUERY>
</CFIF>
------------------------------------------------------------------------I know I can satisfy the multiple values selected by doing the same as above but adding more values to the <CFIF> statement:
<CFIF '#form.listreq#' is "Value 1, Value 5">
<CFQUERY NAME="results" datasource="datasource">
select * from table where lower(fieldname) like lower('Value 1, Value 5')
</CFQUERY>
<CFELSEIF '#form.listreq#' is "Value 15, Value 20">
<CFQUERY NAME="results" datasource="datasource">
select * from table where lower(fieldname) like lower('Value 15, Value 20')
</CFQUERY>
</CFIF>
But since there are 21 total values to select from within the 6 list boxes, I would have to write the code on the results form to display results for one value selected, 2 values selected, 3 values selected, 4 values selected, etc. That would be alot of <CFIF> statements. Is there an easier way to read the multiple values selected within 6 list boxes?
