How do you build a query with two fields that each link to different results from another table then output with PHP?

Attached image is the best explaination for what I need. Can someone give me the SQL and how to call it in PHP? All promotions must be shown, authors must be shown, the guy who approved it doesnt have to be shown if it doesnt exist. Its probably easy stuff, but I'm taking a crash course in PHP (previously classic ASP developer) and am on a deadline.Start Free Trial
