I was working in the admin area of the site today on a new mod/com that I had just installed
frontpage slideshow
It all installed fine and I was playing with settings, mainly sizes etc. I was getting a big grey box around it so I went to my chromataphore template index.php and just tried setting the show mod slideshow to 'false'. Didnt know if it would help but was trying. Went in to look at the site and it was displaying the error
Direct Access to this location is not allowed
needless to say I reverted back to the original index.php and the error still came up and so I uninstalled both the frontpage mod and components from the admin (which is still up and working.)
I did a bit of research on this problem and I can only get info about Joomla 1.5 and legacy nothing with 1.0.15 Stable which I have.
I cant see it is something major, but then what would I know. I hope I have given below info you may need. cpposhanged. I have a database backup from 2 weeks ago but I dont even know if its anything to do with that.
I have tried a different template but nothing.
